Power of Attorney for Property and Personal Care

In Ontario, a Continuing Power of Attorney for Property (CPOA) is a legal document that grants someone your client trusts the authority to manage their financial affairs if they become mentally incapable of doing so themselves. This document remains valid even if your client becomes incapacitated, allowing their attorney to make decisions regarding their property and finances, such as paying bills, managing investments, and collecting money owed to them.
